It comes with one 36 grit aluminum oxide wheel and one 60 grit aluminum oxide wheel. The grinding wheels included with the G9717 are 5 8" wide thick and can accept wheels from 1 2" to 3 4 wide thick. The tools rests stabilize the workpieces when grinding and should be adjusted as the grinding wheels
