New Waterloo Bridge c1942[The New Pictorial Map of London] This map is commonly dated to the 1930s, however in this edition a note states "This is Waterloo Bridge the New One". Work commenced on the new bridge in 1937 and it was opened to traffic in 1942. Earlier editions of this map show the bridge with a breach and works ongoing. We think this edition is likely a wartime publication, probably published upon or close to the opening of the new bridge to traffic in 1942.

I love these plates. I have been buying them for a couple of years and I think they are a great value. I use them to feed my cats and dog, and for reheating leftovers for lunch at work.
