Linen warps are stiffer than wool warps and give more body to your finished piece. Use the 2, 3 or even 4 ply styles single for tapestries and wall hangings and use the 3, 4, or 5 ply double for heavier rugs at wider setts. Remember you have to twist or braid and then wrap the ends of your warp fringe groups or weave
