Trench Art 6 Pdr Shell Case Dinner Bell/Gong with strikerOriginal WW1 6 Pdr Cartridge case dinner bell with a striker. H35cm, base 25cm x 14. 2cm. The shell case used is an MKIV 6 pounder. The markings indicate N = Navy CF = Cordite Filled KN = Kings Norton Metal Company QF 6 Pounder Hotchkiss was a breach loading gun and was initially used on naval vessels. The gun was made obsolete later in the war when larger guns were installed. The 6 Pounder was used in Male British Tanks during WW1
