Early East German CanteenEarly East German canteen with an aluminum bottle with wool cover. It really showcases the transition between the WWII type canteen and the later East German canteens quite well. These early canteens also have a number of traits found in some very late war canteens. There is some mothing on the cover of the canteen where the cup rests against the bottle. Some staining. It needs a very good cleaning. More East German items here.

Seems to be pretty durable. I haven't had it long. The adhesive is still holding up as I applied it to the wall for a vertical hang to keep the block off the floor in my studio. I don't recommend trying to apply this to a wall that would have some kind of texture as the adhesive probably wouldn't hold very well. It's made for flat surfaces only or a wood surface. Make sure you clean the dust off the area you plan to attach to. As everyone knows charging blocks for PCs are incredibly huge and heavy; so far so good.
