Florsheim Brown Shoes in Box (Size 8A)Vintage 1940s brown oxford lace up shoes in their original box. The box is marked size 8 A (narrow). They are in fairly good (still wearable) condition but have been worn and show signs of use. There are some scuffs mostly on the back and on the heel. The bottoms show wear. The box has some wear and tear, especially around the ends and corners. Measured from the bottom outside, the shoes are 9 1 4" long and 3 3 8" across the ball of the foot.

Surprisingly decent for the price! The wood is actually pretty and high quality, but the manufacturing isn't great. The set a received is quite rough and my wife continues to think she will get a splinter. They also are oiled but they are quite dry still and also smell heavily of the mineral oil they use.
