Amandelboord Pinotage 2023Created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the De Grendel cellar, Amandelboord Pinotage pays homage to Sir De Villiers Graaffs grandfather and namesake, the 2nd Baronet, whose favourite cultivar was Pinotage, especially from the cool slopes of Durbanville. Its name, meaning Almond Orchard, recalls the gentle horseback rides a young De Villiers once took with his grandfather through the orchards on the estate, where the scent of almond blossom
