The Sharp Styck does not replace professional skate sharpening. It should be used between sharpenings and for emergency purposes. To repair skate blade edges, place skate blade between the white prongs and slide the Sharp Styck with light pressure in one direction only. Repeat if needed.

This grinder appeared to work great and is one of the few ceramic options available. Unfortunately, the ceramic grinder has already broken inside, detaching from the bottle altogether. There are probably tiny plastic pieces in my leftover peppercorns. Don't buy it unless you want to purchase it every few months, which is unfortunate.
