The stitching on the pouch is coming loose and should be restitched. The blue inside of the pouch shows some wear and the pieces show signs of use discoloration. This set is most likely wartime or pre war as Solingen is in the West and Chemnitz is in the East.

The plates have a tiny amount of twist in the center and quite a bit of doming when flexed. While the outer edges are entirely floppy. Most of the center is smooth, but there are rough patches that flake off paper pieces when rubbed with a spoon or from a lot of moisture from food. The flat surface (not the inner walls) was able to withstand still water for about 10 minutes before weakening, so I wouldn't use it for wet or very moist foods.
